Doncaster Mumbler Queens Platinum Jubilee Trail at Sandall Park Doncaster

Doncaster Mumbler and Friends of Sandall Park launch a fun, FREE sculpture trail fit for royalty to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

May Half term is going to be even more fun this year with the Doncaster Mumbler fun, FREE sculpture trail at Sandall Park in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

URGENT ROYAL MISSION:

Willow the corgi has been playing with the Queen’s favourite crown and lost it!

Can you follow the sculpture trail of special moments from Queen Elizabeth’s reign and help find 8 clues to locate the missing crown?

Doncaster Mumbler and Friends of Sandall Park have commissioned a series of sculptures that will be on display over the long bank holiday weekend, depicting royal moments in time to celebrate some of the Queen’s most notable acts and celebrations. The original sculptures have been constructed using found materials and are brightly painted and decorated to stand out and appeal to children.

They will be on display during 2nd-5th June and you can print off a trail sheet below and take part.  As well as helping Willow to locate the missing crown there are lots of other fun Jubilee themed activities for children to download and do at home below…make some bunting to get your house decorated for the Jubilee, or make your own crown or race horse!

We will be handing out some Mumbler goody bags at Sandall Park during their Jubilee Carnival, on Saturday 4th June so head to see the Sculptures and children will be able to make their own sculptures from nature and play some traditional lawn games.

The Sandall Park Jubilee Carnival will also have a mini funfair, pony rides, inflatable zone, zorbs, circus workshop, music, games and more on Saturday 4th June, so join us for a great day!
