At Puddle Ducks we want every child to love swimming, respect the water and swim beautifully. That’s why our standards are the highest and our approach is unique.
Our highly trained and qualified teachers are experts at identifying children’s levels of ability and adapting activities to the individual, nurturing confidence and encouraging natural ability.
Our lessons are taught in specially selected pools with limited class sizes. Classes incorporate rhyme (our bespoke songs have been written by professional musicians) and movement based on extensive child development research.
Our programmes and teacher training are continuously developed in the latest techniques, ensuring our teaching standards remain the highest.
We are recruiting a part time baby and preschool swimming teacher/swimming instructor (for our classes for ages 0-4 years) to work in and around the Rotherham/Doncaster area teaching baby and preschool children.

To enjoy being in the water and able to swim
Confident, friendly and warm personality
Flexible approach and team worker
Enjoy being around children
Someone with a passion to teach babies and children a skill for life and build their water confidence
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity to join an exciting organisation and still have time with your family. The job satisfaction is like no other. Puddle Ducks offers continuous support to all teachers as well as provides the lesson plans to teach each week.
Our business is totally dependent upon having the best teachers. Commitment, passion, loyalty and the ability to create a good rapport with children, carers (usually mothers), babies and small children are all absolutely essential. Our customers need to know their teacher loves their job and this will be reflected in the way they teach.
Teaching swimming classes in the Rotherham and Doncaster areas
Must be able to commit to at least one weekend shift
Due to the nature of the role there are several training courses that need to be undertaken to qualify as a Puddle Ducks teacher/instructor including an internal course.

Joining the Guide Dogs family means that together we will be helping more people with sight loss to live actively, independently, and well.
We have a variety of roles that contribute to the work we do. Whether you can give a minute, an hour, or a lifetime we have something for you. You can work directly with our dogs or with people who are visually impaired. You can support raising awareness of our services, organise events for us and much more.
Without our volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to reach and support as many visually impaired people as we do. We’re thankful for every one of our volunteers and want to continue expanding our Guide Dogs family to support more people.
There are lots of local volunteer opportunities in the Wharfedale & Carven area. Search and apply for a volunteering opportunity near you here.
