Win the chance to have your child’s story published with Worcester Bosch

You may recall a few weeks ago that we told you about this brilliant story writing competition by Worcester Bosch. They launched their book “A Robot Called B4” to coincide with World Earth Day 2021. They are offering the opportunity for one lucky child to have their own story published as the next adventure.

The competition is aimed at children aged between 7-11 years. They don’t need to write the whole story; they simply need to supply the ideas for the next adventure for the main characters: Alfie, Ava and the robot called “B4”.

If you haven’t read the book “A Robot Called B4” yet then you can get it for free! I can’t recommend it highly enough. My own daughter got so absorbed in the book after I read her the first chapter one night at bedtime that she confessed the following morning to having stayed up late to finish it off! The book is available for free as a hard copy, a digital download or as an audiobook on the website here.

Worcester Bosch is a brand that are passionate about sustainability. They released their book “A Robot Called B4” World Earth Day on 22^nd April. The aim of the book is to inspire children about climate change and the importance of sustainable living in a fun, engaging way.

“A Robot Called B4” sees childhood friends Alfie and Ava taken on an amazing adventure to the dinosaur age, thanks to a time-travelling robot called “B4”.

However, their exciting adventure comes with the realisation that the world we live in is slowly being destroyed, and the natural, beautiful landscapes the dinosaurs roamed in is no more.

Alfie and Ava are on a mission to fix this, but need a little inspiration to work out what their next adventure should be. They need your help!

Your child should write what could happen in the next story. They can make it as long or as short as they want, but the suggested word count is 50-100 words.
