Mother Hookers, a crochet social group in Doncaster, have been working hard to create a 10ft Christmas Tree which is now on display in The Wool Market.
Made of over 300, 6 inch crocheted squares, you might have seen the lights being switched on the Crochet tree last week. You can pop along and see it anytime during the festive period.
The group are raising funds for charity and over the next few weeks, you can dedicate a square in memory of someone, in order to raise funds for Doncaster based charity Evestrust.
Evestrust was founded in early 2011 and money raised helps create a Dream, or grant a Wish, for patients & their families impacted by terminal & serious Cancer.
Pay a visit to The Wool Market over the next few weeks to see the Mother Hookers community project and all dedications/donations will be gratefully received.
Mother Hookers sessions are free to attend and take place at various venues in Doncaster:
No need to book, just go along if you fancy joining in!
