No-one can under-estimate the importance of a good baby changing facility. My little one’s can use the facilities independently now, however I remember the times when they were babies when good facilities to chance an emergency nappy situation could quite frankly make or break your day!
If you have taken a trip to Lakeside Village recently with your little one, you may have noticed that they have fantastic baby changing facilities and they have actually just won an award for them!
There is such a thing as the ‘National Loo of the Year Awards’ and Lakeside Village walked away with not one, but four awards!
According to Lyndsey Parry, Deputy Centre Manager for Lakeside, they have invested in their toilet, changing places and baby changing facilities and their cleaning team take great pride in ensuring that the facilities are second to none.
Lakeside are a family friendly centre and it is clear that they put a lot of effort in to making the venue a fantastic place for families to visit, with the new soft play area inside and a re-freshed outside play area, that my mini Mumblers love. They always have activities during the holidays too, so with their recent award it is great to see that they are thinking of everything they can to make sure people have a good experience there.
The facilities at Lakeside Village include a changing places facility, which means that anyone visiting the centre who cannot use standard access toilets, can access the facilities they need in safety and comfort. The changing places facility has more space and equipment including a height adjustable changing bench, sink and hoist.
