Journey Education, have sent across information with regards to their enhanced measures following the latest guidance from the Government.
Journey Education are continuing their learning journey, despite these difficult times.
” We are in a unique situation distanced from mainstream schools in that we have a maximum of 25 people in the hub at any one time. The focus on shutdown for the UK at the moment is large mass gatherings and therefore the government and DFE guidance is that we continue as necessary (as schools are, with hundreds upon hundreds of students gathering in one place).
The focus remains on communicating the importance of hand hygiene in limiting the spread of the virus. The key message is that it is vital that everyone takes personal responsibility for being vigilant with personal hygiene to help minimise the risk of the spread of coronavirus, while we are continuing to deliver or classes as normally as possible. We want to assure you that we are going above and beyond recommended guidance at ‘The Hub’. “
Journey Education have begun enhanced measures to further prepare for the outbreak, including closure of the centre in the day today, for a deep clean reopening at 2pm.
In addition, Journey are welcoming help from students attending in ensuring that they limit the opportunity for infection spread to an absolute minimum.
