If you are progressing onto further education, completing an apprenticeship, or are interested in a career in policing or nursing, you would need to possess a grade 4 (or C) in your GCSEs or equivalent. If you do not gain these qualifications then you can decrease the amount of future opportunities available to you.
GCSE resits can be sat at varying points in the year. GCSE English exams and GCSE maths exams are sat in November 2023 or May 2024. Other GCSE subjects, such as GCSE science resits, are only sat in May/June. GCSEs are not limited by age and so are available for all learners, whether you’re 16 years old or an adult continuing education.
