Doncaster Stories and The National Literacy Trust are launching weekly writing challenges!
Every Monday, they’ll be posting a video asking children to write something inspired by a local place. This week, there is a monster at the Frenchgate Centre!
Can your child write something inspired by this monstrous image? It could be a story, a poem, a newspaper article, a comic….it’s up to you!
We chose to do a comic strip (I downloaded a template from Twinkl…remember they are offering a free month for parents – get the code here)
Your children have a week to come up with something. Post your finished piece of work on facebook and tag Doncaster Stories and use #DoncasterStories. You can also email it to [email protected].
