Cusworth Hall have LOADS going on. Besides being a great place to get some fresh air, enjoy a walk, play in the play area, they have a couple of free events this half term. Conisbrough Court Crimes – make your own quill, try on costumes etc (see more) and Pit Sense, an exhibition opening showing artwork and stories from our local mining communities (see more)
Half term Dragon Fun at Conisbrough Castle includes storytelling…stories about Dragon with a REAL castle in the background sounds great! Create a giant dragon collage, do crafts and play games. Find out more
Potteric Carr have various events including willow weaving. Besides the activities, this is a great place to take one of the walks (various lengths and some suitable for pushchairs).

Ice Cube, Leeds is Yorkshires coolest wintertime attraction. A favourite of our sister site North Leeds Mumbler, this is a magical skating experience.
Harrogate Indoor Funfair at the Great Yorkshire Showground is a fantastic family orientated event with waltzers, dodgems, cup and saucers etc. Find out more on our sister site Harrogate Mumbler.
We visited York’s Chocolate Story in October Half term – right in the centre, so perfect if you’re travelling to York by train from Doncaster. We loved it as mini mumbler was doing ‘Chalie and the Chocolate Factory’ at school…so perfect if your little one loves Roald Dahl and a bit closer than Cadbury’s World.
