This December Alice is coming out of lockdown and straight into Wonderland. Join us as we go on an adventure like no other, down the rabbit hole, where nothing is as it should be and everything is turned on it’s head (Well actually a bit like 2020!). If it’s your Unbirthday (or your birthday) come and celebrate, the Mad Hatter will be holding a tea party and the Queen of Hearts is having a royal garden party, so Jam Tarts for everyone!
A traditional Pantomime with a modern feel that will have you cheering, laughing, and booing along!

NOW extended until February 21st 2021
Sammy and her dad used to make up stories about giants and mix witches’ potions in the kitchen. But now, something outside is frightening Sammy’s dad. So they stay inside their flat, at the top of a tall house overlooking the city. Dad’s fear of the outside world starts to take shape in unsettling, fairy-tale ways. Brambles and vines are creeping up the walls and tapping at the windows to get in. Can Sammy release Dad from his illness in time to make Mum’s present with her, before Mum gets home for Christmas?
Olivier Award-winning OperaUpclose presents a fun, spooky and contemporary Christmas story, told from the perspective of 8-year-old Sammy. It’s a story about bravery and kindness, which also tackles the isolation we’ve all experienced over the past few months. We will be drawing inspiration from classic winter tales, both cosy and gothic, as well as opera, theatre and film to create a thrilling story-telling experience, in a wonderfully intimate setting.
This performance will be available to watch online until February 21st 2021. Once you’ve booked your tickets, you will be sent an email with all the details you’ll need, including a password, in the days running up to the launch date.
Tickets are £5 per person (£20 family ticket)
