Lakeside’s popular, free-of-charge outdoor cinema will also be returning for one day only, showing Christmas favourites The Grinch and Elf on the big screen.
Di Rodgers, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “We’re so excited for our Seasonal Festivities event, getting Christmas started with a real bang and giving our customers a whole host of entertainment and activities to really get them in the festive mood.
“From our Christmas Cinema to fantastic offers across the centre, as our Black Friday Weekend sales continue, we can’t wait to welcome everyone down to Lakeside for a day of festive fun and cheer.
“In the spirit of Christmas, we’ll also be raising funds on the day for our Charity of the Year, DonMentia – a vital cause that supports those living with dementia in the Doncaster area.”

Christmas Gift Workshop
5th December 2019 – 4th January 2020
Once upon a time, there were two shoemakers who were very old and very poor – so poor they couldn’t even afford to buy each other Christmas presents. With no wood for the fire and only one piece of leather left to make shoes, there was little festive spirit in the shoemakers’ shop.
But one night, just as the snow begins to fall outside and the clock strikes midnight, two mischievous elves appear at the window…
With live music, puppetry and lots of theatre magic, Grimm’s classic fairy tale, The Elves and the Shoemakers, comes to life this Christmas as a festive treat for all the family.
