Step into the enchanting world of lambing this February half term, from the 10th to the 18th of February 2024, at our farm. Anticipation fills the air as we have over 60 expectant ewes eagerly awaiting to bring new life into the world, with the possibility of new lambs being born each day.
Make the most of your visit by seizing the opportunity to meet our knowledgeable farmers, who will share insights about our sheep flock. Observe the heart-warming experience of lambs feeding and indulge in our popular animal handling sessions. Additionally, join in with a fun sheep hunt around the farm, adding an extra layer of excitement to your day.
Let your imagination run wild as you immerse yourself in a whole new world of make believe. Step into Jack’s Mini Village and you will immediately be transformed into Village Life where you can become any number of different people – a baker – a stylist – a builder – a doctor, and many more besides.
The size and level of detail will amaze you, from the Mini Village credit card (which each child gets to keep) to the “working” checkout counters, washing machine and ovens, to the awesome ice cream van. Jack’s Mini Village is located on the first floor above Jack in the Box Soft Play. The soft play area has 3 different awesome zones – large gated baby area, toddler play frame and large junior play frame – we have something for everyone with our exciting slides, interactive ball pools and captivating sensory areas, we even have an interactive game floor. There is also a huge menu with lots of tasty, freshly made food.

9th January – 19th February 2023
Follow the call of the Green Guardian this wintertime and explore an enchanted trail around Potteric Carr nature reserve. Discover the magic and wonder of winter wildlife as they settle down for the season awaiting a brighter, greener, and wilder springtime. Enjoy 3km of woodland and waterside pathways as well as plenty of fresh air on this family adventure!
As well as the Wild Winter Wonderland enchanted trail, there will be a weekend of special wild winter events on Saturday 4th, and Sunday 5th of February.
Join the team on Saturday 4th February to spot wild animal tracks and signs on a guided exploration or marvel at mini mammals on a mosey around Potteric Carr; spots are limited so make sure to pre-book!
On Sunday 5th February, follow the enchanted trail into the woodland to toast a marshmallow and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate by the crackle of the campfire. Stay awhile and craft some natural decorations – a truly magical winter experience. (No booking required but admission prices apply).
