From a schoolteacher who has transformed your life to a doctor who may have saved it.
They will be awarding 22 bespoke purple plaques for local heroes who have gone the extra mile for their community.
There will be one plaque for every census so far, installed on the buildings which best represent the person being honoured. This could be a hospital, a school, a library or a community’s sports hub.
You have until Thursday 31 December 2020 to nominate your community’s Census 2021 hero.
