William’s Den opened it’s doors just over a year ago and we have already visited a couple of times. Within 40 minutes reach of Doncaster, situated in North Cave, it’s a wonderland for kids of all ages.
Recently reviewed by Sally from Harrogate Mumbler, she sums it up pretty well. The Den is all about embracing play and encouraging kids to use their imagination. Whether that is inside in the play area, which is like a big treehouse (my two children channelled their inner Peter and Wendy and were lost in Neverland), or outside in the mud kitchen there is a lot to squeeze in to a day.

We first visited at Christmas time last year, when they also had their fabulous ice rink. My little one’s loved it – just big enough for them to push around one of the penguins or be brave enough to try and skate around on their own. Due to it being quite a small ice rink, there was a booking system in place, which meant that numbers were limited, so not too many people on the ice at once which was great. We’ll be looking out or their activities this Christmas as it was very festive.
In terms of food, they do allow you to picnic, or they have a great cafe, serving delicious pizza’s straight from the pizza oven. My children loved watching their pizza being made.

**NEW for 2018 at Williams Den**
Join them for our new Saturday Social on 1st September: The Den will be open from 9:30am – 9pm!
The idea is that families can enjoy the summer evenings together.
You can go along at any time during the day but the additional fun starts from 5:30 when you can enjoy; Live Music, DJ, Licenced Bar, BBQ, Outdoor Play, Games and Activities.
Normal admission fees apply during the day with a discounted entry from 6pm.
Friends of the Den can use their annual pass for the event.
The Kitchen Table will be serving food until 6pm.
BBQ available until 8pm
Please note: on Saturday Socials no picnics will be allowed after 3pm
