Meet Peggy in our back yard reconstruction and learn about her life as a miner’s wife in the 1940’s and the Bevin Boy who boarded with her.

Hoof it to the National Coal Mining Museum in May where our ponies Eric, Ernie and Bud are celebrating Finn’s birthday. Visit the stables and say hello then have a go at our special horsey crafts during May Half Term.

Drop in to the Blacksmith’s Forge at Hope Pit Workshop & see the Museum’s resident Blacksmiths Nicholson-Harris Blacksmith at Pit demonstrating their skills.
