Di Rodgers, centre manager, Lakeside Village Shopping Outlet, said:
“Following the government announcement regarding a third national lockdown, our centre will be closed from tonight (January 4), apart from essential shops, food outlets offering take-out service and click and collect stores, these will be identified on our website over the coming days.
“We are sad and disappointed to be in this position again and our thoughts go to our customers, who have enjoyed shopping safely with us over the Christmas period and our retailers during their key sale period, but we recognise that this is a necessary action to try to stem the spread of the virus.
“Our centre will be ready to open as soon as we are able to do so and we will be looking forward to welcoming customers back to our stores.
“We want to thank our customers for their continued support during this difficult time.”
