Young people aged 9+ are invited to join a free music club starting in November!
The club, called Wednesday music club, invites curious young people to try something new and enjoy a wide range of activities, from songwriting to playing in a band.
Wednesday Music Club will start at The Point, with taster sessions on Wednesday 20th and 27th November, 4pm-5.30pm.
The club will then take place every Wednesday at The Point from 8th January, 4pm-5.30pm during school term time.
No experience is needed and you don’t need to know how to play an instrument.
Musician, Dyzelle Sutherland said: “We can’t wait to meet young people from our local neighbourhoods in central Doncaster and from across the borough.”
“Whether you are interested in music tech or just want to meet other young people who love music, everyone is welcome to join this friendly, free and inclusive music club”.
Wendy, a parent who attended a music session at The Point over the summer holidays, said: “As someone who first language isn’t English, The Point was completely new to me – but I know it’s a great place for my children.”
“It’s nice to know they’re doing something fun, and it’s definitely encouraged us to join one of the future workshops here.”
