Last year we held the very first Doncaster Mumbler Awards and what a night it was! Here’s the video and a reminder of all of our previous winners…
None of us were prepared for the Coronavirus pandemic and the challenges that it presented to all businesses…activity providers, ante-natal and post-natal support, classes and groups have all moved online, family attractions became virtual, we have all explored our local areas as families, we’ve bought online and local retailers and restaurants delivered to our homes. Teachers have adapted and changed how they deliver lessons to students at home and those parents with businesses have juggled them around home schooling.
We’ve all had to adapt and in light of the current covid-19 measures and uncertainties we have made the difficult decision to move the Doncaster Mumbler Awards online this year. I hope everyone will show support to the companies and individuals that they love and nominate them for an award!
There have been new businesses popping up, companies and individuals have changed how they work and the community spirit in Doncaster has been amazing!
The family friendly businesses with the most nominations will go through to the final voting stage in September. The winners will be announced in an online awards ceremony, so dig out the posh clothes and dress up at home. Friends and family can join in from home too!
