Several Heritage Walks ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 miles in length.
Doncaster Heritage Walk:
- A short historical walk, visiting the river, canal and railway. An urban walk with some steps and a relatively flat footpath along the river.
Conisbrough Heritage Walk:
- A short walk around Conisbrough with excellent views of the castle. Approximately 45 minutes, some slopes up to the castle.
Don Gorge Heritage Walk
- Takes in the features of the Don Gorge, including Sprotbrough weir and fish pass, the lost village of Levitt Hagg, stunning views from Conisbrough viaduct and the wildlife of Sprotbrough Flash.
Sprotborough Heritage Walk
- Mainly flat walk which traces the home of World War flying ace Sir Douglas Bader . Approx 1.15 hours.
Mexborough Heritage Walk
- Flat, mostly on pavement. A historical walk through Mexborough and along the River Don.
Swinton Heritage Walk
- Takes in the remains of the pottery industry, historic buildings and canal. 4 miles/1.45 hours.
