Step into the magical world of “The Christmasaurus” with our immersive four-hour camp, where adventure, creativity, and holiday magic come to life! Based on the beloved book by Tom Fletcher, this camp offers young explorers the chance to experience a day filled with enchanting activities inspired by the whimsical story of a young boy and his wondrous dinosaur. We will get creative by crafting our very own Christmasaurus toy with colourful decorations and festive materials, allowing for unique expressions of imagination! Embark on a scavenger hunt, solving clues and finding hidden treasures related to William Trundle’s adventures with his dinosaur buddy. Enjoy holiday-themed games like “Pin the Horn on the Christmasaurus” and fun relay races. Conclude the day with a cosy hot chocolate celebration whilst sharing a shortened version of the story.
Join us for a festive four-hour experience at The Wreath Workshop Camp, where participants will immerse themselves in the art of creating beautiful Christmas wreaths from natural resources! This hands-on camp is perfect for all ages, offering a blend of creativity, exploration, and holiday spirit. Kick off the day with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to wreath-making. Campers will learn about the history of wreaths, the materials we’ll be using, and the importance of natural elements in holiday decor. Set off on a guided nature walk to collect fresh evergreen boughs, pinecones, berries, and other seasonal elements. Campers will learn about local flora and sustainable harvesting while gathering unique treasures for their wreaths. Back at the workshop, campers will start designing and assembling their wreaths. With guidance from experienced instructors, participants will use their collected resources, along with ribbons and embellishments, to craft a stunning, personalised Christmas wreath. Once the base wreath is complete, campers will have the opportunity to add creative touches such as bows, ornaments, and seasonal decorations.
Welcome to Journey’s Winter Retreat and New Year’s Extravaganza Camp, a fun-filled four-hour celebration to ring in 2025! We will embrace the spirit of the New Year with exciting activities, creativity, and joy, fostering mindfulness and relaxation during the winter months. Using Yoga, meditation and crafting with natural materials, as well as cosy storytelling sessions by our makeshift fireplace. We will create gratitude journals, personalised resolution cards, and resolution cards or vision boards, capturing their hopes and goals for the upcoming year. We will finish off our session with a series of fun and energetic games: balloon relays, party- themed charades, and New Year’s trivia. Campers will participate in friendly competitions and team challenges that celebrate the spirit of the New Year! With party hats and party poppers, campers will gather to enjoy a sparkling juice toast as we count down to the New Year sharing traditional songs.
