Maize Mazes are great outdoor fun for all the family whatever the weather this summer! If you enjoy a challenge, each maize is a unique design so you could visit a few!
Here are a few around our area that are open this summer 2020 and details of any special Covid19 measures in place.
In it’s 20th Year, the Maize Maize at Boston Park Farm is open from 4th July – October. Each year the pattern of the maze changes. We have been for the past few years and it’s always a great day out.

Adults: £2-4, Children £5-6, Toddlers £4, Babies Under 1 FREE.
Admission includes everything else currently open (animal trail, nature trail, outdoor play areas and cafe)
Covid19 Update – The indoor play area, sandpit and bouncy castle are currently closed and they are offering a limited takeaway menu in the cafe. There is indoor and outdoor seating open. Tickets must be pre-booked.
The Maize Maze at Cawthorne, S75 4AS
Around 45 minutes travel from Doncaster
Open from 18th July. Set in beautiful countryside next to Cannon Hall Country Park, 5-10 minutes off the M1. Each year there is a new design and puzzle and this year it will be a special tribute to the NHS (via Yorkshire Live) Complete the challenge to get out!

Covid19 Update – This year there are many more open spaces so that visitors can pass each other safely and maintain social distancing. There is lots of space in the games field for picnics and a daily BBQ offering homemade burgers and an ice cream cart with fresh home-made ice cream.
Uncle Henry’s Maize Maze, DN21 4JD
Around 40 minutes travel from Doncaster
A giant 5 acre maze, open from July 18th until October half term. Find all the letters hidden in the maze to complete the challenge and find your way back out.

£8 per person, Under 2’s go free, or £25 for a group of 4. Includes the maize maze, 9-hole crazy golf course, jumping pillows, play area. No dogs allowed. Purchase tickets in advance. (See our review of the crazy golf recently)
Covid19 update: Achieved Visit England’s ‘We are Good to Go” accreditation. Hand sanitisers are placed at entrance and exit points, the maze is specifically designed with no touch points and wider paths. Takeaways are available at the cafe or picnic area. Table bookings only for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, coffee and cakes.
National Forest Adventure Farm, DE13 9SJ
Around 1 hour 15 minutes travel from Doncaster
Dino Maize Maze, opening 18th July to 1st September. Tickets released on Mondays for the following week. Online bookings for AM or PM slots. Explore the twists and turns of the mize maze to find the hidden dino’s!

Easingwold Maize Maze, YO61 3NG
Around 1 hour travel from Doncaster
16 Acre site, open from July 18th to September 6th. 10am-4pm

£5 per person, 2 and under FREE. Other attractions including Sandpits, animals and football golf.
Covid19 Update: Bring picnics, there will be a marquee avaialable. Bring your own buckets and spades for the sandpits.

A brand-new attraction for all the family nestled in beautiful countryside at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds. A field full of fun with nine acres of maize plants and never-ending paths to explore in the Yorkshire Rose Maze, and for younger adventurers there’s the two-acre Scarecrow Mini-Maze.
Open every day from 22 July to 6 September 2020, from 10am to 6pm with last admissions at 4.30pm.

Around 1 hour 30 mins travel from Doncaster
Close to RAF Donna Nook, in North Somercoates (we’ve been there to see the seals in the winter). The maze is still growing, so no opening date yet confirmed. Look out for updates.
